Wait! So it opens outwards like a regular door and THEN lifts up. What's the point of that?
Sure if it opened slightly (clear of the door shut) and then went up in one seamless movement but 'out and then up' just seems stupid and too much.
FYI the guy. I'm sorry but the top button open on a shirt is acceptable, two at a push but three or this guy's case four buttons, no way, it's not like you can even say your fully dressed. Dear god no.

The need to open the door normally first destroys any practical argument for dumb lambo doors. I thought it would be cool to get in and out of your car without dinging another car if they parked too close, but you can't even do that with these things...

I once drove a Z4 with the same doors, they were more a pain in the ass to close than anything.

A friend of mine has those on a mustang he picked up (don't worry he got a Np all the way). They're such a pain in the ass because they open to were you can barely get in unless you lift them up. But if you lift them up when they're opened horizontally all the way, you scratch the paint. It has to be the dumbest mod for a car, way worse then electric turbos.
